Glad to be a Part

Thanks for inviting me to be part of the BWA pastors blog. I look forward to reading what's on the minds of fellow pastors all around the world. Also, I'm glad to make a contribution from time to time in the blog.

To speak to one point about weather issues in your last posting, I found this most interesting in my days in California (professor at Golden Gate Seminary in the 80s). The typical California reaction to rainy/cold Sundays is just the opposite of other parts of the country. While inclement weather usually means low attendance, such weather raises attendance in California. Reason: there are fewer outdoor options, so people opt for worship attendance!

We're all full of strange, or at least convoluted motivations for what we do.
