As a "younger" pastor, I wonder what the future holds for the church -- both the gathered group of believers and the institution as we know it?
Do you ever wonder about such things?
What will call future generations to follow Jesus Christ?
Will my children (now 7, 4 & 2) know the hymns of faith? How will scripture influence and mold their lives?
And what sort of influence will the church (both local and universal) play in their lives?

I must admit at times I am concerned. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, thank God, is far stronger than any institution or preacher (again, thank God) and for that I am hopeful and for that I hold on to the belief that the truth shall set us free!

In the meantime, what are somethings we can be doing to assist in helping future generations be part of the family of God?
